Code Enforcement Department is responsible for the issuance and inspection of the following:

  • Building Permits
  • Plumbing Permits
  • Rental Inspections
  • Land Use
  • Flood Plain Management

If you have questions, such as,
do you need a permit for the project you are doing,
or how far from the road or property lines does your project need to be, please call.

Joelle is available Monday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. And Friday's from 8:00 until noon. The towns of Norway, Woodstock, Greenwood and Hanover share Joelle's services and she is called to one of the other towns on occasion so it is best to call first.
