Jeff Wilson appointed as District Court Judge

It was a thrill to testify before the Judiciary Committee last week in support of Jeff Wilson, a local attorney and the current town manager of Norway. He was nominated to be a District Court judge by the Governor.

It was a powerful and at times emotional hearing as his supporters spoke. We are so fortunate to have such an intelligent compassionate and commonsense public servant willing to serve in this critical position.

Jeff was joined by his wife, Sarah, and their two children as well as many supporters. Happily, the committee voted unanimously to recommend Jeff’s confirmation to the Senate. He was confirmed unanimously in the Senate.

We congratulate him and know he will do a tremendous job!
